FACTS-Analyzer have a new way of dealing with variant routing in simulation models. It enables complex variant routing without the need of complex programming skills. This is accomplished by the ability to add multiple flows with one or several variants per flow. Flows are built by making connections between objects.
Using flow selection, possibly with flow grouping, will make it possible to define alternative routes for variants or group of variants. The performance of these alternative routes can then easily be compared in an experiment or even in an optimization.
Note: However if the system doesn't require complex variant routing it is very easy to model a simple production flow where all variants share the same flow (see note about Any Variant).
