Shifts

Shifts can be added to a Timetable and used to change operational status over time for flow objects in the model. It is possible to add one or several shifts to a Timetable.

Shifts are setup in the shift editor (seen to the right). Each row represent a shift in the timetable and the following actions are used to add and remove shifts:

Add a shift: Push to add a shift.

Remove a shift: Push for the shift that should be removed.

Remove all shifts: Push in the header row.

A detailed description of the available settings (i.e. each column) of a shift is given in the table below.


Setting

Description

Name

The name of the shift.

Note: Names must be unique and can't start with a number.

Start

The time during the day when the shift starts. Range of allowed values [00:00,23:59].

End

The time during the day when the shift ends. Range of allowed values [00:00,23:59], where 00:00 represents 24:00.

Note: If the end time is set earlier than the start time the shift will end the following day.

Breaks

Times within the Start and End of the Shift when there should be a break. Breaks are added on the following format:

"HH:mm-HH:mm; HH:mm-HH:mm;...", where each "HH:mm-HH:mm" represents the start and end of a break.

Range of allowed values [00:00-24:00].

Check boxes telling which days of the week this shift should be active (checked) or in-active (blank).
